Elements Stack Demo
Wednesday, Aug 6, 2008, 9:57 am | In GeneralIn my on going effort to explain to people what TileStack is all about, I've created another demo stack to show off the power of the technology. I made this stack in just a little under an hour. It is a period table stack that can be embedded, viewed and referenced just about anywhere.
I've embedded the stack below, so you can check it out. Again, this was created using the "Speak" language which is heavily based on the old HyperCard syntax.
So I can say things like set the icon of button "Element Phase" to "solid.png" and it will set the background image of the button to that image, thus indicating the phase of the element the user just clicked on.
The language is very easy to pick up and is well documented (getting better every day) here: http://tilestack.com/help/topics.
Anyways here's the stack running, play around with it, let me know what you think:

That’s really cool. How long did it take to make?
